โ Unconfirmed identityNo death record has been confirmed. Three had been downloaded (1854, 1859 and 1866). The 1854 page is a burial register with no entry for him, and the 1866 death was a man aged 58, too young to be the father of Mary Campbell (born 1804). The 1859 death at Kilcalmonell, Argyll (aged 80) is plausible but does not name his wife, so it stays marked as unconfirmed.

Death, 1859

Plausible, not proven. A Colin Campbell aged 80 died at Kilcalmonell, Argyll, in 1859 (parents Duncan Campbell and Catherine McGregor). The entry does not name his wife. The Colin Campbell named as father in Mary Campbell's 1804 baptism was a fiddler at Kilkivan, in the same part of Argyll, and the age fits, but nothing here names Isabella Thomson.
