"IN THE MIDST OF LIFE WE ARE IN DEATH" (the lines below are too faint to read)
Henry Hensby
Died 12 May 1869, aged 62. This matches the GEDCOM death date exactly, and an age of 62 fits his recorded birth of about 1806.
Died 20 October 1879, aged 70, described as Henry's wife. The date matches the GEDCOM. An age of 70 points to a birth around 1809, where the GEDCOM has about 1811. The stone gives no maiden name; in this tree she is Elizabeth Webb.
ℹ Where is the grave? The photograph does not show a cemetery name or location, so no burial place has been added.
ℹ Reading the stoneThe names and dates are clear. The verse at the foot is weathered and only the first words can be made out.
